What is output, difference between soft copy and hard copy

 Output

The data that has been processed into Useful information is called output

The output can be in two forms.

1.  Soft Copy

2.  Hard Copy

 Soft copy

Soft copy in an electronic form

 It is easier to modify

It is stored on storage devices

 Hard copy

Hard copy in in printed form

 It is difficult to modify

 It is printed on paper

Types of Output

Different types of output are as follows:

1.  Text

Text include connected used to create words sentence and  paragraph.

2.  Graphics

Graphic output include drawing charts and photograph.

3.  Audio

Audio output include music speech or any other found many software applications and website use audio for more effective output.

4.  Video

Video is a set of full motion images played at high speed it may also include audio.

 Output Devices

The hardware components that are used to receive information from the computer are called output devices. Output devices state information from the computer and convert it in a form that is understandable by the users that come output device are display device , printer speaker and headphones.

Display Devices

A display device a display is an output device that display the text graphics and video download displayed by a display device in card soft copy. The display for desktop typically is a bulleted that is a separate physical device .  The screen is a part of monitor that also include the housing for its electronic components. Mobile computer and device is typically integrate the display in their  same  physical case . Some display have touch screen display devices are available in a wide variety of sizes.

Feature of Display Devices

1.  Size and Aspect Ratio.

Display screen are measured  diagonally  Pranam corner to conduct display screens are available in various sizes test of computer monitor the range from 17 to 30 inches but the large ones are available from special purpose. Laptop screen are usually between 14 to 17 inch. Notebooks typically have 10 inch display, tablet screen are between 7 to 10 inches. Most display are white screen which mean they use a 16 ratio 9:16 ratio 10 aspect ratio  similar to wide screen Television.

2.  Colour

The display device can be monochrome dark colour the colour display screen display output in multiple colours. The colour display screens also call are RGB monitors. The number of colour a monitor can display is called colour depth h bit depth.

The  monochrome display screen display output in single colour monochrome display screen show images in a single colour usually white, green, blue, red or ember. However, monochrome monitor can display different shades of one colour. The number of Shades of one colour that the monitor can display is referred to as gray-scale.

3.  Resolution

Resolution is an important characteristic of any display device. The number of pixels displayed on screen is called screen resolution pixel. The dots are picture element that form images on the screen resolution that reminds the amount of information that can be displayed at one time. It is  expected as the number of horizontal pixel by the number of vertical pixel. For example a monitor or screen with a 1600X 900  resolution display up to 1600 pixel per horizontal row and 900 pixel per vertical rope it displayed a total of 14 40000 pixel to create a clean image. highest screen resolution displays more information than a lower screen resolution but everything appears smaller a high-resolution provide Shahpur and clearer image.

4.  Refresh Rate

The literacy rate is the speed with which a monitor redraws the image on screen. It is also known as vertical scan rate or vertical frequency. It is measured in hertz. it indicates the number of time the screen is if Rashid on one second refresh is necessary because the Force Force hold their glow for a fraction of a second the image on the screen appear more solid if the refresh rate is high the screen will click less the refresh rate should be at least 72Hz. commentator have refresh rates between 75 and 85 Hz.

5.  Dot Pitch

The distance between each pixel on a display is called dot pitch, which are pixel pitch. It is measured in mm. The display device is it typically have a dot pitch between 2.26 and 4.223 or lower dot pitch means less blank space between pixel and result in a sharper image.

6.  Video Adaptor

The video adaptor is a circuit board that determine the graphics capabilities of the computer such as:

. Screen resolution available

. The number of bits used to store colour information about each mixture card bit depth.

. The total number of colour that can be used to display images.

. Number of monitor that can be connected to the computer via that video card

. Types of connector that can be used to connect a monitor to the computer

Most video cards also have memory chip noun as video Ram or V Ram. It is used to sport graphic display a sufficient amount of video. Ram is required to support higher resolution higher bit depth and a greater number of colour most video cards to de contain a video Ram from 256 MB to GB.

Types of display devices

1. Cathode ray tube

2. Fat panel displays

 Cathode ray tube

This is monitored using a cathode ray tube cathode ray tube create an image on the screen using a beam of Electronics. Cathode ray tube consists of one or more guns that fire a beam of electrons inside the screen. The screen is coated with very tiny phosphor  dot from inside. The beam of electrons repeatedly falls on the surface of screen, every beam for takes only a fraction of a second cathode ray tube in colour monitor consists of three guard these generate red green and blue colour. The Other colours are generated with a combination of these  three colours.
